Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank
I designed the layout and developed the copy for Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank's newest banking brochure that is currently being distributed to the public. Their primary market ranged from young adults (20-25) looking to start building credit to local families (35-50) looking to take out loans and organize their savings. The brochure was developed in InDesign and the copy was conceptualized by me after communicating with their representatives and getting an idea of the average consumer who walks in their doors.
I have developed landing page and product description website copy for the high-end dog accessory company, Zippy Paws! Their primary market is dog owners ranging from 20-40. As a dog-lover myself, creating copy that was equal-parts bark and bite really helped to fetch me some good portfolio examples...ha...
The Carbon Crew
I don't even know where to start when describing how substantial my love is for everyone at my Carbon home in downtown Newburyport. They took a risk and accepted me, a freshly graduated Writing, Literature, and Publishing major with no previous industry experience, as their first (junior) copywriter. I'm sooo privileged to be exposed to such an impeccably talented and creative bunch of people (I'm talking about you, Fink, Chandler, Rowan, Tracy, Kristin, and Erik). I've been given the unique honor to watch first-hand as this tiny dream composed by Nikki Raffenetti and Jason Rivera grows day-in and day-out.
Despite only being at the junior-level, I've been able to gain experience in what feels like every form of copywriting while at this amazing advertising agency. As the only in-house copywriter, I transition between and write for ~6 different clients with their own unique brand identities. For Carbon specifically, my tasks include social and landing page copy as well as blog writing and the occasional coffee run. Leopold's New Scoop
I have self-published a children's book in conjunction with my best friend/ creative partner Nick Cannon! What started off as a pretty cut-and-dry final project for a design class evolved into a passion project that Nick and I wrote, illustrated, designed, and printed all on our own! Leopold's Ice Cream has been a staple ice cream shop in Savannah, GA for almost 100 years, and it was an absolute treat to be given the opportunity to breathe life in to a mascot to represent them. I have done various copy work for Simplisafe alarms, whose primary market is focused around families/homeowners (35-50) who look for the protection of a standard alarm. I primarily focused on B2B and B2C email copy with them, as well as some web-copy. Email copy was quite foreign to me up until I started working with them, so having the opportunity to write practice that specific task really helped diversify my skill set as a copywriter.
